Dr. Tracy Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist who is a graduate of the Wright Institute. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at UCSF/San Francisco General Hospital’s Child & Adolescent Service in the Department of Psychiatry, and has worked with children, families, and adults in a variety of community mental health settings for the last 17 years. She completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the School-Based Collaboration and was intimately involved in the development and implementation of the program’s inception. She is currently the Director of the School Based Collaboration where alongside her colleagues she works to provide no fee mental health services to schools in Richmond and Oakland. Her clinical work is primarily focused on the treatment of children, adolescents, and families, specifically the treatment and assessment of complex trauma, the role of attachment in relationships, psychological growth, and the psychological experiences of cultural and social systems. She is bilingual and bicultural.
