Dr. David Velleman graduated from the Wright Institute PsyD program in 2015 and received his license in clinical psychology in 2016. He completed his internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the Integrated Health Psychology Training Program (IHPTP), an APA-accredited internship program in Contra Costa county. Following licensure he worked as full-time clinical/supervisory staff with IHPTP, with a specialty in integrated primary care psychology, for 5 years. In 2021, he became the supervising psychologist in charge of the Integrated Behavioral Health team for San Mateo County. In addition to health psychology, Dr. Velleman's research interests include sports psychology and addiction treatment, specifically behavioral addictions such as gambling disorder.
