Directions to the Counseling Program from Airports

Drive time to the Dwight campus is approximately 30 minutes from the Oakland airport and about one hour from the San Francisco Airport, depending on traffic conditions.

From Oakland Airport to 1000 Dwight Way - map

  • Get on I-880 North towards Downtown/Oakland
  • Take exit 42A for I-980 toward CA-24/Walnut Creek
  • Continue onto I-980 East. Keep left to continue on CA-24 East
  • Take exit 2 for Martin Luther King Junior Way
  • Turn left onto Adeline Street
  • Continue onto Stanford Avenue
  • Turn right onto 61st Street
  • Turn right at the second cross street onto Market Street
  • Continue onto Sacramento Street
  • Turn left onto Dwight Way, and the building will be on your left

From San Francisco Airport to 1000 Dwight Way - map

  • Follow signs to Us-101 North
  • Merge onto US-101 N
  • Take exit 433B for Interstate 80 toward Bay Bridge
  • Continue onto I-80 E
  • Keep left and merge onto I-580 W/I-80 E
  • Take the Ashby Ave/CA-13 exit
  • Continue onto CA-13 S/Ashby Ave N
  • Turn left onto Seventh St
  • Turn right onto Dwight Way
  • Destination will be on the right

Public Transportation from the Oakland Airport:

  • Take the AirBart train from the airport to the Oakland Coliseum BART station.
  • Board a Richmond bound BART train and get off at the Downtown Berkeley station, which is 1.7 miles from the Dwight campus.
  • Walk 1 minute to the corner of Allston Street & Shattuck Avenue.
  • Take the 49B "Rockridge BART" bus to Dwight Way/San Pablo Avenue stop.
  • Walk 1 minute to 1000 Dwight Way.

Public Transportation from the San Francisco Airport:

  • Take the AirTrain Red Line to the BART station.
  • Board the Pittsburg/Bay Point train to the Rockridge station.
  • When you exit the station, you'll be on College Avenue. The 49B bus stop is on College Avenue, just outside of the station. Take the 49B bus towards.
  • Berkeley and get off at Dwight Way and San Pablo Avenue.
  • Walk 1 minute to 1000 Dwight Way.
