Megan Carlos, PhD, has taught courses in developmental psychology, clinical psychology, research methods, and statistics over the past 19 years, including in multiple PsyD programs in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Carlos received her MA in Child Psychology and her PhD in Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Minnesota at Twin Cities. She has a private practice in Berkeley, California. Her professional and research interests include working with individuals with disabilities and chronic illness in psychotherapy, training students with disabilities in professional psychology, women’s mental health, child psychology, and attachment theory. Dr. Carlos has previously served on the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Disability Issues in Psychology and is the Vice Chair of the National Council of Schools and Programs in Professional Psychology’s Disability Committee.
