Townsend Lotz-Nigh, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and a gender health specialist. Dr. Lotz-Nigh recieved a PsyD from the Wright Institute and was the first openly transgender intern to complete their APA-accredited internship at the MST Gender Transitions Clinic at Kaiser Permanente, the Northern California hub for youth and adults accessing gender affirming medical care.

Dr. Lotz-Nigh's areas of research and clinical interest are in eating disorder treatment, healthcare experiences of LGBTQ people, and the resilience of sexual and gender minorities with a history of childhood abuse. Dr. Lotz-Nigh serves as a steering committee member for the CPA's Division I Health Section and as an advisory member and program committee member for UCSF's Mind the Gap Consortium for gender affirming care providers.
